Homage to the heirloom Bradford Family Watermelon. This beer started as a tart Farmhouse Ale aging in a mix of red and white wine barrels. Last year we added 100 lbs of puréed Bradford Watermelon, then we blended the beer this fall and added an additional 200 lbs of Bradford Watermelon puree. The result is a light effervescent and highly fragrant farmhouse sour bursting with delicious Bradford Watermelon flavor accented with oak and wine from the barrel aging.
