This month we’re stoked to host Mr. Doug Jones of the late 90s rock band
“Cravin’ Melon.”
Here is a little about Doug and his musical Journey:
From the red clay of South Carolina to the national airwaves, Cravin’ Melon helped put a little Southern flavor on the rock scene of the ’90s!
Formed in Clemson, SC, in 1994, Cravin’ Melon made their mark with the 1997 album Red Clay Harvest, featuring the Billboard-charting hit “Come Undone” and the Southern anthem “Sweet Tea,” famously declaring, “On the eighth day, God made sweet tea!”
With their unmistakable blend of Southern rock, roots, and storytelling, Cravin’ Melon became part of a thriving Carolina music scene alongside artists like Hootie & the Blowfish and Greenville native Edwin McCain.
Now we’re excited to welcome Doug Jones of Cravin’ Melon to Mojo In the Haus for an intimate evening of music, stories, and conversation about the songs, the journey, and the experiences behind the music.
