When guitarist and vocalist TC Costello was working as a busker in Greenville, he
saw many passers by in falls park clad in Nirvana, Weezer and Sublime T-shirts. So, in summer of 2024, he began to obsessively
learn ’90s classics.
But he felt his solo performances, despite the romantic scenery, lacked something. And that something was provided by multi-instrumentalist Bridget Brennan, drummer Jared Burger and bassist Jason Hathcox, and thus Weezer and the Blowfish was born. The quartet is poised to bring nineties nostalgia to the Carolinas.
