“Mojo in the Haus” is a series that we have started to bring in local and regional artists that you may or may not know to learn a little bit about their story and what makes them tick.

This month we have the “Picker from Pickens”

Mr. Luke Deuce!!!

Luke Deuce is a rising country singer-songwriter from Pickens, South Carolina, whose roots in music began early — he started performing Johnny Cash songs in kindergarten, and grew up playing instruments with his dad in his luthier shop.

Blending classic country sounds from the 1940s to the 1990s with a modern sensibility, Luke draws from his "old soul" influences to craft heartfelt songs grounded in real life.

In just a few years, he’s attracted attention beyond his home region — performing hundreds of shows across the Southeast, collaborating with experienced songwriters and producers, and earning accolades like the first ever “Rising Star” award from the SC Entertainment & Music Hall of Fame.

This month’s sponsor for the December installment of “Mojo In Haus” Is Time Travelers Studio

Time Travelers Studio has been helping musicians sound their best since 2017. They have produced albums for Luke Deuce, David Strang and Gypsy Sallies, plus numerous singles, and three volumes of Play it Forward albums. They have access to session players for any instrument you need, and use Pro Tools software as well as Universal Audio hardware. They offer full service recording, mixing and mastering including global streaming release.

The Bauernhaus will be serving up woodfired pizza, German pub fare, 16 taps, and NA bevs.

All shall be revealed in this year's production of Krampus and His Holiday Hellions!

As always, the festivities will begin with a parade starting at Carolina Bauernhaus, walking Pendleton St, and then returning to Bauernhaus where the show shall begin. Be sure to don your best Krampus or Holiday Hellion outfit, and bring as many noise makers, drums, and bells as you can to fill the air full of cheerful doom and gloom as we stalk the Village of West Greenville!
